1. Setting Up a Custom WordPress on AWS
First of all you need to visit Amazon Web Services website. You can create a free account, but you will need to enter credit card information. Amazon will confirm your identity by debited a Rs 2 charge to your card.
Now your account is verified, log in to your AWS console and click on the ‘Services’ menu. Under the Calculation section, And select EC2 to continue.
Install WordPress in Amazon AWS
EC2 is AWS’s cloud computing platform that allows you to create virtual machines and run web apps such as WordPress
Next, click on the ‘Launch Installs’ button to start and configure your example settings.
You will choose an Amazon machine image. These are pre-configured software stacks And install with one click.
Look for WordPress under ‘AWS Marketplace’ and then select ‘Bitnam by WordPress’.

You will now see a price pop-up where you need to click the Continue button.
On the next screen, you will be asked to select an example type. You can go ahead and select td.micro free tire and then click on the ‘Instance Details Info’ button.
On the next screen, you do not need to change anything. Just click ‘Next: Add Storage’ and then click on the ‘Next: Add Tags’ button.
Now we will enter the name for this instance as a tag. Click the Add Tag button and enter ‘Name’ as the key, and enter ‘My WordPress’ as the value.
Click the ‘Review and Launch’ button to continue.
You will now be presented with a brief overview of your EC2 industry configuration. Click ‘Launch’ button start your instance
Next, you will asked to select paired keys. select And ‘Proceed without a key pair’ and then check the box below.
Then click the Launch Opportunity button to store your settings and launch your EC2.
AWS will now show a success message. Click ‘View instance’ in the lower right corner of the screen.
Now you can see your WordPress instance running.
Install WordPress in Amazon AWS EC2 in 5 minutes
In order to verify your WordPress site, you need to find its public IP address. You can find it below the IPV4 public IP column before your instance.
You can now copy this IP address and enter it in the address bar of the New Browser tab to view your website. You will be able to view your WordPress site with the default theme.
To visit your WordPress admin area, add / wp-admin / directly to your site’s public IP address: http://32.161.527.236/wp-admin You will now see WordPress login page
However, you will need to know the username and password to access the admin area.
You can get back to your EC2 console and click on the ‘Actions’ button and then select Get Instant Settings Settings System Log.
This will bring up a log file with lots of text in the popup window. You’ll need to scroll down, and you’ll find a line labeled ‘Setting a Username Password,’ enclosed by ## gestures. You will also see the default user name set by the app
